Hiroshima City currently offers public wireless LAN service in Peace Memorial Park and Peace Boulevard. This service enables visitors to the park to share their photos and impressions with the world, all while the importance of peace remains fresh in their minds.
Adjustment of network settings is not strictly necessary. One may connect to public wireless LAN service automatically by simply bringing a personal computer or other equipped device into Peace Memorial Park and Peace Boulevard (Some machines may require users to select an SSID [Service Set Identifier]-see table below.)
For machines already equipped for use in a wireless LAN environment, some changes in settings may be necessary. In this case, please refer to the following table. (Display may vary slightly depending on the device.)

(1)Upon connecting to the wireless network "peace_memorial_park," open your web browser (Internet Explorer, etc.).
(2)The registration page will be displayed. For first-time users, click the register button and agree to comply with the terms of use. Then enter your e-mail address, a password (no less than 8 characters, no more than 12), and your name. You are free to create your own password.
(3)Once you have completed registration, the authentication page will be displayed. Enter the password that you created in step (2). This password is valid for a period of one day.
(4)Your registration is now complete. You may use the internet as usual.
(1)Please use your own computers or devices (including power sources).
(2)Security mechanisms such as anti-virus programs and encryptions are not in use. Installation of anti-virus software and other such counter-measures is the responsibility of the user, who uses our wireless LAN service at his or her own risk.
(3)Access to potentially harmful websites is blocked by a filter.
(4)Due to maintenance or other circumstances, service is subject to periods of unavailability without prior notice.
