International Animation Festival is a festival of ‘Love and Peace’. Through the art of animation - a form of ｓmedia transcending national boundaries and linguistic differences - the International Animation Festival unites the spirit of ASIFA (Association Internationale du Film d’animation) - the pursuit of peaceful coexistence of humankind - and the spirit of Hiroshima - the seeking of everlasting world peace.
Because this year marks the 25th anniversary of the Hiroshima International Animation Festival and the 50th anniversary of ASIFA, various special programs will be held.
