Toukasan Festival It's proud of more than 380 years history. People in Hiroshima are supposed to begin wearing their yukata from this

Firefly festival in Yuki Hot Spring In Yuki Hot Spring neighborhood and in some parts of the town, firefly such as Luciola Cruciata, Luciola Lateralis, and rare species Hot aria Parvula can be seen from the middle of the June to the middle of the July. Hiroshima Peace Memorial Ceremony It is held in the Peace Memorial Park, to comfort the souls of the many victims of the A-bomb and to pray for lasting world peace. Fri. Aug. 06 Peace Memorial Park
Lantern Floating Ceremony Some 10,000 colorful lanterns bearing prayerful words for peace will be floated in the rivers in Hiroshima city including Motoyasugawa-river. Fri. Aug. 06 Motoyasu-gawa River etc.
International Animation Festival　in Japan HIROSHIMA 2010 This is a comprehensive animation film festival which is held under the spirit of LOVE & PEACE every other year. Various animation films froｍ all over the world are shown in the festival. Sat. Aug. 7 - Wed. Aug. 11 Aster Plaza

Hiroshima Castle Chrysanthemum Exhibition Some 2,000 pots of chrysanthemum flowers of different blossom types are on display, including those planted in a special flowerbed 10 meters in diameter.
